Fetty Wap – ‘King Zoo’

Love him or hate him Fetty Wap is a bonafide rap star and hit-maker. His self-titled debut album was certified platinum and produced four singles which performed very well commercially. The Trap Queen rapper is now ready to release his second studio album, King Zoo, and the anticipation is quite high because naturally people want to see how it will hold up against his debut project. The album is set to drop on the 29th of January 2017.

Big Sean – ‘I Decided’

No rapper from Detroit has been as consistent as Big Sean the past few years. The rapper seems to grow with each new release. His most recent album Dark Sky Paradise did exceptionally well on the charts and ended up being certified platinum by the RIAA for shipping and streaming an equivalent of one million units. The albums featured bangers such as Blessings which featured Kanye and Drake as well as more somber and introspective songs such as One Man Can Change the World. Sean is scheduled to release his fourth solo studio album, I Decided, on February 3rd 2017. So far two singles have been released; Bounce Back and Moves. The latter was a top 40 hit and peaked at number 21 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Fat Joe & Remy Ma – ‘Plata O Plomo’

In early 2016 Fat Joe and Remy Ma took the world by storm when they released the megahit All The Way Up. The track was a wakeup call to everyone who was sleeping on these two emcees. They followed up that single with another banger, Cookin’, which didn’t perform as well as All The Way Up but still has over four million views on YouTube at the time of writing this article. That was followed by the third single Money Showers which features Ty Dolla $ign. Remy and Joe’s collaborative album Plata O Plomo is scheduled for release on February 10, 2017.

G.O.O.D. Music – ‘Cruel Winter’

G.O.O.D. Music released their compilation Cruel Summer in 2012 and since then fans have been anxiously waiting for the follow-up to that project. Travis Scott mentioned in September last year that he’d oversee that next group project Cruel Winter. The album is expected to feature music from the entire G.O.O.D. Music roster and should make for an enjoyable listen. The first single titled Champions was released last year and featured Kanye, Big Sean, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, Desiigner and Quavo. The release date is not certain what with Kanye’s recent personal issues. However, it’s expected to be released sometime in February this year.
